These cords are for service where the flexible is not exposed to the risk of mechanical damage or frequent handling.
Used as supply leads to TV sets, radios, small appliance, lamps etc, for light duties only.
PVC insulated and sheathed: Voltage grade 300/500V
Suitable for a large number of applications, including hand tools extension leads, hand lamps, garden tools, domestic
appliances and industrial equipment.

Core Colours (PVC insulated and sheathed)
Single Core: Brown, Blue or Green/Yellow
Two Core: Brown and Blue
*Three Core: Brown, Blue and Green/Yellow
*Four Core: Brown, Blue, Black and Green/Yellow
*N.B. The core colour supplied for the earth conductor is Green/Yellow as specified in KS 04-192 and
BS 6500.
Sheath Colours
All Types White, Grey or Black

A 300/300 Voltage rating indicates that the cord is suitable for operation at 300 Volts to earth or between conductors.
Cords to this rating are intended for single phase domestic systems, light duty only.
A 300/500 voltage rating indicates that the cord is suitable for operations at 300 Volts to earth or 500 Volts between
conductors. The cords are sheathed and suitable for single and three phase supplied for general domestic and
industrial duties.

During manufacture, all cores are individually spark tested at between 4 and 6 kV depending upon conductor size.
Single core cables are selected on a random basis, other cables on a 100% basis and subject to a voltage withstand
test for a period of five minutes
